Kess is an award-winning Aussie director, based in Brooklyn. He has a passion and knack for telling tender, heartfelt stories with stunning cinematic visuals. As the son of a world changing leadership expert mum, he was raised in close proximity to nature, big business and legacy-minded purpose, as well as art, magic and good people.  This imbues his work with a matching sensibility, with stories that thoughtfully amplify client’s messages, often around women-forward narratives. 

For Kess, the best stories are ones that reveal the magic — and the truths — beneath the fabric of the every day. His thematically motivated visual storytelling is informed from his design background, and is routinely bettered by actively diverse cast and crews. The spirit on set when we are all represented is passionate, ambitious and connected like no other — if not infinitely more fun. 

Prior to his move to the USA, Kess worked with Oh Yeah Wow, Australia's leading home to ragtag animators and vfx artists. At OYW, he created award winning fashion films for Skodia and my ARIA (the Aussie version of the Emmys) nominated music video Through the Roof.
